Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual(s) available for both in-person and virtual therapy sessions. The ideal candidate should be available for in-person shifts on Fridays and/or Saturdays and offer one virtual shift per week. This position initially involves two shifts per week but holds growth potential for the right candidate.

Working Hours

  • Monday-Thursday, Sundays: Virtual shifts
  • In-person Fridays: 8 am to 2 pm or 2:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  • In-person Saturdays: 9 am to 3 pm

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Professional College membership or registration with a mental health association (e.g., BCACC, CCPA) with current liability insurance
  • Self-motivated, forward-thinking, and able to work autonomously
  • Dedicated to professional growth and long-term commitment to our practice
  • Ability to provide in-person services at our Burnaby office

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates experience in preferred counselling clinical field through specialized training
  • Awareness of and compliance with ethical practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with diverse client populations
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments to continuously improve clinical practice
  • Participation in ongoing professional development, training, consultation, and supervision

Strong Assets

  • MCP, MA Counselling, or Clinical Psychology
  • Post-graduate counselling experience with diverse client backgrounds
  • Certifications in the following areas: Couples, First Responder, Families, or Sex Therapy
  • Proficiency in a second language
  • Computer literacy

Salary
Competitive Split – dependent on hours worked (e.g., full or part-time) and training
